Pitching was strong on both sides, with Boswell's pitchers tallying seven strikeouts and the Bobcats notching nine. Mak Lerma earned the win for the Pioneers, while Johann Infante started strong on the mound. Mason Bell led the offensive charge with two hits, while Mcbride and Ramon Corona each contributed an RBI. Game two is scheduled for Friday at Byron Nelson, with the first pitch set for 7 pm.
